"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive—it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"
- Anne Shirley in "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery
Hi! Yeah, I would like to be surprised from time to time. It pays to know what would happen in the future though. We could avoid risks. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I tell myself when I get bored. Explore and I will surely find something interesting and wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
Such a perfect quote, but then again it comes from one of my ALL TIME favorite books!
ReplyDeleteI adore A of GG! Great quote for a Monday! :)
ReplyDeleteI am also a great fan of Anne's! I so loved her outlook in life, especially when you take into account her early years. Yes, she's fictional but am I the only one that forgets that while happily tucked up in a great snuggly chair rereading her?
ReplyDeleteGreat quote for a Monday, and so perfectly Anne!

I so love Anne and often wanted a friend like her growing up... Anyway, I was thinking of her especially this weekend, and I'll share why later today!
ReplyDeleteI think that all the time! :)
ReplyDeleteI should really read that book!! I love almost every other storybook heroine! I should grab it!! :)
