"Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive—it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?"
- Anne Shirley in "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery

  1. Hi! Yeah, I would like to be surprised from time to time. It pays to know what would happen in the future though. We could avoid risks. :)

  5. I am also a great fan of Anne's! I so loved her outlook in life, especially when you take into account her early years. Yes, she's fictional but am I the only one that forgets that while happily tucked up in a great snuggly chair rereading her?

Great quote for a Monday, and so perfectly Anne!

  6. I so love Anne and often wanted a friend like her growing up... Anyway, I was thinking of her especially this weekend, and I'll share why later today!
