Free Paper Toys

M
arilyn makes some absolutely adorable free paper toys that you can download, print out and assemble yourself. I found her site, The Toymaker, through OhDeeDoh, and plan to print out a few on a color laser printer to send as part of a gift package to my niece and nephew. Some of the toys use items you might have around your house like pennies or marbles to work their magic.

What child wouldn't be enchanted by some of these toys, like Bowling Bunnies, the Circus Book, Bear Wagon, Spinners, a Pop-up Unicorn Box, Otter Paper Dolls, A Pupper Theatre and even some cute blank toys you can color yourself, like this aeroplane.

I love the simplicity of the toys, the detail in the illustrations transports me to an enchanted land of make-believe and fantasy. I love that an older child can assemble these themselves with a little adult surpervision. Enjoy!
