We all tend to label ourselves sometimes too, which can be either good or bad. I love Johnny Depp so I'm rockin this quote!

Yes, good or bad we tend to label. I know it's human nature to do so, it's just hard when you are on the receiving end of that. I tend towards the heavy side of the scale, so I am immediately labeled 'lazy' - nothing could be farther from the truth! My daughter is Chinese and already we have been 'told' that she will be smart in math and sciences, will grow up to be a great beauty, will be a great gymnast, etc. Labels ... or stereotypes? (And geez, no pressure on the kid, huh?)

I must say, I have to agree with Mr. Depp. We have a tendency to make snap judgments about people and sort of categorize them so we can make sense of them - he's the "jock" she's the "pretty one" etc. If only we could keep an open mind about one another - the things we might be surprised to learn!
