Updated Blog Format
Well, now you get to see what I've been busy with for the last couple of days. I may still be tweaking things a bit, please let me know on this post or via e-mail if you see any problems or are having difficulty with any features. I've tested in Firefox and IE7, but not IE6, Safari or others. So, if you happen by here, and happen to use one of those, would you please let me know if it looks ok?

I love the new look! The sweet thoughts aren't dropping down onto to the tab though, even with updated firefox.

ReplyDeleteThe tab is there, but there's no text in it.
I'm using firefox 3.0 on Vista 64-bit.
Oh, I just realized I lost all my pretty comment formatting... I'll have to fix that when I get home... That's why it's always good to download a backup before starting these projects... :)

Marf, is the text higher or lower? or just gone. Oh, and are you on the main page, or the post page. the comment info doesn't show up on post pages, because you are already there. Though I can change that.

Ok, I'll see what I can do... :) Does the post title appear to be in about the same position as the picture in the post? I changed it so the comments show on post pages as well.

ReplyDeleteThe post title is in about the right spot. I don't have that font you're using, so it looks like regular text (not the fancy look).
ReplyDeleteThe sweet thoughts does show on the post page now, but it's still too high. It's above the tab, not down in it.
I bet that's the problem... I included the font to be available as embedded, but that probably doesn't work in Firefox. Sooooo the font it's replacing with isn't as tall, I'm guessing. I'll set the line-height and I should be good.

ReplyDeleteSorry I havent dropped by for while, I just wish I knew how to do reader to keep up with all my blogs. Great new look,like the date stamp and wanted a thingy cloud , but gave up trying to work out how!!!! It takes a while to load for me, not sure if thats my end though as it always has done. Im use IE7 Vista.
