My Garden Update

These are some daisies that came up and well even though they weren't planted and they are growing out the edges of the landscape cloth I'm certainly not going to pull them :) I love unexpected flowers... Daisies I love these pale purple delphiniums, the actual flowers on them are rather small. Delphinium My daffodils have bloomed fairly late this year. Now that they are finally blooming they're all coming out at once. Daffodils The irises that Tamy sent me are coming up. Yay! Iris

I love daisies! I'm a simple girl, they are at the tip top of my favorites list. Along w/ magnolias. Your garden is very pretty.

The image of the daffodils is a really great shot, it almost creates a spiky halo effect w/ the grass. I had to do a double take.

We have irises that grow all around the house, luckily I don't have to do anything for them, because if I did, I'm afraid they wouldn't make it.

  4. Blaze: I'm so excited that they are finally coming up. I was beginning to think our late frost had caused them major problems

Monique: Daisies always remind me of You've Got Mail...
    Kathleen Kelly: I love daisies.
    Joe Fox: You told me.
Kathleen Kelly: They're so friendly. Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower?

well and Daisy Chainsaw, but that's another story... :)

I love magnolias, the heady smell of them always reminds me of Charleston, SC...

I have 2 irises that I bought 2 years ago, and then a bunch that Tamy sent to me from her garden, so I'll see if I can't get them growing

  5. Sandra: Last year I had surprise pansies growing between the bricks in my patio and this year I have surprise daisies... I almost like the surprises more than the rest. I'm never sure what I should pull as a weed so I tend to let a lot of things just grow up until I can tell if it's a weed or a flower, then pull them...

  8. They may be late, but they were certainly worth the wait. They are beautiful and with the bonus volunteer daisies, you have lots of color. I can't wait to see what color irises you got!
