Well everything is finally growing, I don't have any flowers yet, but they'll all be up soon. The trees are flowering, however, pink and white blossoms will soon cover the yard. We pulled the fire pit out last weekend, I love laying out on the lounger with a fire going in the summer. We have small lights that line the entire perimeter that go on in the evenings. I just love the yard, it was one of the biggest selling points of our home. I couldn't resist, despite the wallpaper!
I loovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve your yard! So pretty and private! My blooms finally broke out this past couple of days too!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love it too. It's gorgeous once it's blooming. I'll post more pictures once it blooms.
ReplyDeleteooohh your grass has such a lovely green to it. Mines gone a bit yellow in places and it was new last yr :(!! Its so wet and rainy were hoping that will help a great deal. There's got to be some silver lining to all the grey wet clouds this spring!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you enjoy being in it , it has a lovely feel. Has a UK garden feel to it for some reason?
I did say I would show my back garden at some point, as we had it all re planted a few weeks back , Im just waiting for some sun to take photos, no such luck!!!
Thanks, we weed and feed right away in the spring and I'm sure that helps with the color. Right now we're dealing with dandelions. They've come up in droves this year! We have a couple of yellow spots up by the patio where I'm standing from the dogs, but they'll be gone soon.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite books growing up was "The Secret Garden", I kind of feel like this is mine. From the front of the house it doesn't look like it would be anything out of the ordinary, but in the back it's lovely. Nothing too spectacular, but I love it.
Beautiful Barbara.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, The Secret Garden, wonderful book...... and I too love my yard.
1 thing though, I really like dandelions. They are so bright and cheery. Plus it is a flower ((yeah I know, weed)) that I can actually grow - L.
I wouldn't mind if my yard was riddled with buttercups, but I don't really want the dandelions :)
ReplyDeleteI forgot to ask, what was the wallpaper like?
