Spring Green

Just wanted to share the first few bits of green up here in North Dakota. I noticed a little bit of green peeking up in front of the house when I left for work yesterday. So this afternoon when I got off work I went around the yard and took a few pictures.


Spring Green

From Upper Left Clockwise: buds on the red maple(?), the allium is always the first to start coming up, the irises coming up, and finally Zaya

Seriously, I took I don't know how many pictures and she got herself into more than half of them, so finally I just took a picture of her. She's running at me full bore from the other side of the yard, so she looks like she's leaping at me... Goofy puppy...

    Spring green? Where? I'm still looking. I did plant some flower seeds today around the flag pole.

    That will be pretty! I think you did a nice job with it. What did you plant there?

    You know the green I saw when I was leaving for work, well I had help doing the splitting last fall and I think someone split the allium and put some in front, when it was supposed to all be daffodils. I'm guessing because that and the irises are the only things coming up right now and it's only coming up in one spot. Not sure though, it sure looks like Allium.
